Following stops in Seoul, Tokyo, and Paris, SMTown Live World Tour made its way over to New York City for a long-awaited, highly-anticipated show at Madison Square Garden. It was Girls’ Generation’s first trip together to the Big Apple — a visit all the more meaningful due to the recent release of their first English single, “The Boys.”

With a brand new maxi single on the way leading up to their official US debut, the nine-member girl group stopped by MTV’s Times Square studio for an exclusive interview with MTV K. Taeyeon, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Jessica, Yuri, Sooyoung, Sunny, Yoona, and Seohyun sat down with MTV K’s own VJ Grace, just above hundreds of SONEs watching them outside live on the Times Square JumboTron.
