The RockTigers are the undisputed leaders of the Korean Rockabilly revival movement, interpreting classic Rockabilly with their own East-meets-West sound. Formed in 2001, their bass-twirling, hip-shaking music has inspired a whole new genre of punk in Korea: Kimchibilly, a term coined by the band’s Canadian fans. Known for their energetic live shows, the RockTigers have gained a cult following around the world, touring the globe with their Korean, Japanese, and English releases. Since 2004, they’ve singlehandedly exploded the culture of pompadours and slap basses in the clubs of Seoul.
