Super Junior’s World Tour Continues: Super Show 4 Hits Paris & Shanghai!

April 17, 2012

Following the release of Mr. SimpleSuper Junior has been touring the world on their fourth solo tour, Super Show 4, since their Seoul concerts last November. They continued across Asia, breaking a handful of records along the way: They became the first Korean artist to hold two concerts in Macau, held the fastest-selling concert in Taiwan, performed for an unmatched audience of 40,000 in Thailand — you name it, they’ve done it.

On April 6, 2012, Super Junior held their first solo concert in Paris, at Le Zénith de Paris, where SMTown Live was held just last June. The following weekend found the group performing for thousands of their Chinese fans at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai on April 14. Each concert lasted almost four hours, showcasing all of the members’ talents. Highlights of the shows were definitely the special stages, ranging from Ryeowook’s shockingly sexy rendition of “Moves Like Jaggar” to Super Junior’s newest unit duo, Donghae and Eunhyuk’s crazy high-energy party called “Oppa Oppa.” Check out photos from the two concerts above, and stay tuned for more coverage and details on future tour dates!

Super Show 4′s next stop is Indonesia, with three concerts in Jakarta scheduled for April 27-29. Unfortunately, Australian ELFs will have to wait just a bit longer for their turn, as the cancellation of Super Show 4 in Sydney (originally scheduled for May 5) was announced on April 16 by concert organizers.
