Psy has been taking international audiences for a ride with “Gangnam Style,” since its debut last July. Now, thanks to a Dodgers Game in L.A. and its days on iTunes, the song might just be on everyone’s radar. So what was that about Justin Bieber again?

Teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber has had his own share of international antics and a dash of good PR thanks to his manager Scooter Braun. But get this: after Psy caught his manager’s attention—enough to earn a mysterious L.A. meeting, the Korean artist has now passed Bieber on the Top Singles chart on iTunes as well as on the MV chart. Three words: Watch out, Biebs. You now in competition with the first Korean artist to hit number one on iTunes.

To add to the buzz, at a recent L.A. Dodgers game vs. the San Francisco Giants game on August 21, Psy busted a move in pure horse-dancing “Gangnam” fashion. The entire stadium got to hear “Gangnam Style” at the end of the fifth inning, while some even danced along. If that’s not serious international exposure, we don’t know what is. But if you’re still not positive as to whether Psy has made his mark stateside, then read and watch the stories about the stunt in LA Times and on CBS. Perhaps you’ll become a Psy-believer then.
