Apparently, 800 million views on YouTube can land you in the White House. Singer/rapper PSY will ride the fame of his international mega-hit “Gangnam Style” straight to the US capital this holiday season for this year’s Christmas in Washington concert.
Christmas in Washington, which celebrates it’s 31st anniversary this year, is a holiday tradition benefiting the Children’s National Medical Center. The concert is attended each year by the President and his family, among many other Washington VIP’s.
Headlining the 2012 festivities will be music legend Diana Ross, Broadway and television actress Megan Hilty, Disney star-gone-pop-princess Demi Lovato, former The Voice contestant Chris Mann, American Idol‘s youngest male winner Scotty McCreery. Oh, and, that guy. You know, the one with the most liked and watched video in internet history.
The star-studded concert will premiere Friday, Dec. 21, at 8/7c, on TNT, hosted for the second time by comedian and TV personality Conan O’Brian.
