It’s been well over a year since Super Junior sub-group Super Junior-M has released anything new. Of course, ever since their last album Perfection dropped in 2011, they’ve been performing throughout Asia as Super Junior-M (during Super Junior proper’s Asian activities mind you), and at concerts like Taiwan’s Tainan Festival this past summer with rookie group EXO-M. Now, we’re excited to report that SJ-M is prepping their official return and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

SM Entertainment confirmed Super Junior-M’s return to the spotlight with word of an upcoming album. No official news has been released about the actual album, but apparently SM Entertainment is in the planning stages of SJ-M’s next release. The last time we saw Super Junior-M (the M stands for Mandarin—the language in which they sing), was in the beginning of 2011 in their spectacular MV for “Perfection.”

Before Perfection, Super Junior-M’s released 2009′s Super Girl album. So we’re not that surprised that SJ-M is preparing their return to China. We’re also really glad to hear that SJ-M has already been offered a handful of concert and variety show requests due to their unbelievable popularity in China. While nothing is confirmed at the moment, it’s good to know that Super Junior-M still remains Super Junior’s most popular sub-group to date.

Is SJ-M your favorite Super Junior sub-group? Say ‘ni hao’ to our comments section and tell us who you think is best.
