The day finally arrived — YG solo act Se7en enlisted in the military today, leaving the K-Pop world behind for his two-year service. To show appreciation for all those who supported him through the years, the singer penned and released the single “Thank U (고마워).” We’re totally not tearing up right now.

Mid-tempo pop ballad “Thank U,” expresses Se7en’s gratitude to his fans, old and new, past and future through self-written lyrics and heartfelt vocals. The MV is a mix of footage from the soloist’s final concert performances as well as a few trips down memory lane. Nope, no tears here. It’s just raining in the MTV K office.

Se7en also uploaded a short PV for the Japanese version of the song, “Arigatou.”

Catch ya later, Se7en! See you in two years. :)
