Another K-pop star has made her way to the Hollywood silver screen! The box office release of Make Your Move, a new dance flick starring the one and only BoA and Dancing With the Stars’ Derek Hough, is finally within sight after years of production. It’s time, y’all — the posters and trailers are out, the red-carpet premiere was a hit, and the Instagram contest is in full swing. The dancing begins on April 18!

Aya (BoA) and Donny (Hough) are drawn to each other after a fateful meeting on the club floor, but can they overcome the dangerous family rivalry and high-stakes underground dance scene that threaten to tear them apart? Written and directed by Save the Last Dance and Step Up mastermind Duane Adler, Make Your Move is a classic dance romance for a new generation. Aya and Donny may come from two different worlds, but they speak the same language: dance.

Fans and fellow K-pop artists are pretty stoked about the new movie and have been for a while. The project’s working title, Cobu 3D, has been on our radar since filming began back in 2011, and don’t get us started about the SM Entertainment party in the soundtrack!

Dance-crew-worthy club jams “Cheap Creeper” (Girls’ Generation) and “Say Yes” (Girls’ Generation’s Jessica, f(x)’s Krystal, EXO-M’s Kris),  TVXQ’s English track “Running on Empty,” and f(x)’s 2010 hit “NU ABO” join tracks by artists like The DeeKompressors, The Outfit, and Michael Corcoran on the OST’s iTunes release.  There may be more to come too. According to the track listing on the film’s official website, they may be a couple more surprises in store — an f(x) single called “From Lust ’til Dawn” and a BoA/Corcoran duet version of “Let Me In.”

Listen to a clip of “Let Me In” in this Make Your Move trailer MV:

The moves of Make Your Move were mapped out by Napoleon and Tabitha D’umo, AKA Nappytabs (“I Got a Boy,” “Humanoids,” “Only One”). The choreographer couple regularly drops crazy routines on shows like So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Best Dance Crew and has worked with American pop icons like Madonna, Prince, and Christina Aguilara. They’re also giving YOU the chance to show off your skills!
