No guys, we’re not talking about android phones. At the end of April word got out that TVXQ would be making a Korean comeback in the second half of this year—their first since Keep Your Head Down at the beginning of 2011. Holding to their plans to have Japanese activities finish out in the first half of 2012, interestingly their time in Japan is not quite over.

Enter their latest Japanese single, the upbeat dance track “Android.” In contrast to their most recent Japanese ballad “Still,” “Android” which you can hear a :33 second preview of on their official Japanese website, sounds like an addictive Tohoshinki track done right. Seriously that hook will be in your ears for days. And what’s also great is that they’ve released photos for the Japanese album jackets as well. Looking all kinds of cool and collected, the duo just might give Tron a run for his digital money.

“Android” is set to premiere in Japan on July 11 with an album containing regular and instrumental versions of the title track and a song called “Blink.” Highly anticipated by Japanese fans who have pre-ordered the album like wildfire, the various versions of the album contain all kinds of goodies. Think: special photo cards, lyric books, remix versions of the tracks and concert footage from their latest Tone tour in Japan. Exciting, right?
