Ever since we heard that Epik High had signed with YG Entertainment, we’ve been itching to know more about their return. Now, riding the high of YG Entertainment’s recent success, the members of Epik High are readying themselves for an October comeback.

The last time we heard from Epik High was in the beginning of 2010, with their album Epilogue. Five months prior, Epik High member DJ Tukutz enlisted for his mandatory military duty, Epik High then went on hiatus and member Mithra Jin began his own Korean military duty in the summer of 2010.

In November of 2011, member Tablo signed a four-year exclusive contract with YG Entertainment and released his first solo album, Fever’s End. This started a media firestorm, scaring Epik High fans into thinking that the group had disbanded. But that terrifying rumor was put to rest this year after Mithra and DJ Tukutz (who had both ended their military service) also signed with YG Entertainment for an Epik High comeback. Rightfully returning to their place in Korean popular music, the reunited group are going to be releasing their comeback single “It’s Cold” on October 9 through YG-Life.

But that’s not the only great news we’ve got to tell you. Not only will Epik High’s comeback single feature K-pop Star runner-up Lee Hayi, but their seventh album will drop through YG Entertainment sooner than we thought on October 19.

We’re also excited to hear that 17-year-old Lee Hayi will be releasing her debut single, “1.2.3.4″ on October 29. As if Epik High’s comeback news wasn’t cool enough….

Which release are you the most excited for?
