Move over British invasion, we’ve got a bit of K-rock on the menu. Gearing up for a September 22 concert are the boys of CN Blue. Think the Beatles would mind if we call them the fab four?
Just last March, Los Angeles, California saw CN Blue sell out the Nokia Theater as part of the M-Live concert series alongside fellow K-rockers, FT Island. Thankfully, that show was made possible through the joint efforts of CJ E&M and AEG Live. Now that both companies are working with CN Blue’s agency FNC Entertainment, London is next hot spot on the map, with CN Blue Live in London. To be held at the Indig02, fans in the UK need not worry about the lack the of space for the premiere event, since the venue boasts about 3,000 seats.
As it will be the very first time CN Blue will crash onto British shores, fans and concerts organizers are rightly excited. Susan Rosenbluth, CEO of AEG Live (the company that took part in Michael Jackson‘s This is It tour), commented on CN Blue’s L.A. performance saying, “I wanted to see K-Pop’s phase on my own …everything was satisfying.”
FNC also felt honored to be involved in the making of such a historic event, specifically: ”to perform in the homeland of rock, America and also England.” And from the looks of it, CN Blue Live in London will be nothing less than a smashing success.
