Remember when we said that YG Entertainment was going to Canada for the first time to hold global auditions? Well it looks like Canada isn’t the only place.

We’re so excited about Jay Park’s awesome FreshA!R-Breathe!T mixtape. So much so that we can’t stop following his Tweets, and it’s fully justifiable.

On May 17 ballad queen Baek Ji Young released her latest mini-album Good Boy to fans who were especially excited to hear that the title song would be a dance track.  Her first since the mega-hit “My Ear’s Candy” ft. 2PM‘s Taecyeon back in 2009, BEAST‘s Junhyung is the guest rapper this time around, and puts on a charismatic performance as Baek Ji Young’s in-song disagreeable lover.

Even though this song made its first appearance in 1993, “Turn Around and Look at Me” still plays in South Korean clubs on the regular because it’s just a well-loved retro track that gets everyone on the dance floor. And it doesn’t hurt that Deux is one of the pioneers of the Korean hip-hop scene along with DJ Doc and Seo Taiji and the Boys.

Finally after two long years of military service, Epik High’s Mithra Jin has returned. While he joined the service on August 3, 2010, he was discharged by the Ministry of Defense in Yongsan-gu, Seoul just a few days ago on May 14. So we’re amped to report that he was welcomed back by his fellow Epik High members Tablo and DJ Tukutz.
