The K-Pop world doesn’t slow down for anyone, so we’ve narrowed down this week’s top stories just for you.  Here’s what happened in K-Entertainment for the first week of March:

Super Junior will continue their five year run as endorsement models for KyoChon Chicken, only this year, they’re joined by Ailee! Their new CF will feature a “thrilling scandal” with Ailee playing a fan who gets to spend a year with her favorite boyband. As a special treat, KyoChon Chicken will be releasing a calendar of the idols as well.

Speaking of chicken: First generation idol group Shinhwa will show off their love for fast food brand “Chicken Mania” with a brand new CF. The two teasers released so far put the group’s silly side on display, proving that the Shinhwa guys are indeed the original “variety idols.”

Buzz Worthy

Actor Yoo Seung Ho quietly enlisted in the military this week, only letting fans know afterwards through a short video message on his fan cafe. Though his sudden enlistment came as a shock, the act of attempting to enlist without celebrity treatment added to his own formidable army of noona fans.

On March 5, 2PM‘s Taecyeon was spotted filming with Gui Gui (Wu Ying Jie) in Jeju Island for the world version of MBC’s We Got Married. Obvious camera presence aside, the two actually seemed like a real couple as they held hands, went on dinner dates and played around in the pool. The air date of the episode has not been announced yet.

Actress Han Chae Young, also known as ‘Barbie’ because of her gorgeous body, has revealed that she is eleven weeks pregnant! Six years ago, she and her husband, business man Choi Dong Jun, delayed baby plans so that she could continue her career, but now the couple is happily expecting their first child. Han Chae Young currently stars in the KBS drama Advertising Genius Lee Tae Baek, and will take care of her health carefully as she continues to film. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Move over ‘Harlem Shake’ —the ‘Teen Top Shake’ is where it’s at now. Following their comeback for “Miss Right”, Teen Top has been pumping out video after hilarious video featuring the song’s ‘shake’ choreography being performed by fans, other artists, and the boys themselves.

PSY‘s will hold his highly-anticipated comeback concert on April 13 at Seoul’s Sangam World Cup Stadium. Luckily for the rapper’s international fans (of which there are many, at this point), the concert — which will unveil his follow-up single to “Gangnam Style”—will stream live on YouTube.
